We are currently seeking a highly analytical and dedicated Service Charge Manager to join our well established but highly ambitious organisation. To lead the Service Charge Team to provide a financially viable, competitive, high quality, efficient and customer focused service. In particular act as lead manager in all aspects of service charge liaison and legislative consultation. You will provide support and advice to the Head of Specialist Operational Services and proactively drive improvement across the Team, ensuring that staff are delivering excellent customer services to our residents.

As the Service Charge Manager you will use your vast knowledge and experience of law and accounting processes to play a key role in external liaison on own area and/or wider, ensuring that Catalyst’s reputation is maintained throughout, provide advice and support to the business, working collaboratively within a larger section/department across service areas. You will be a key member of a team understanding the wider impact of the work on the other services thus needing to develop and maintain constructive relationships with a variety of stakeholders including colleagues within Catalyst and external partners. You will be a housing professional with substantial senior management and Home Ownership experience including Consultation,Calculations,Reserves and Billing who has demonstrated effective running and delivery of a Service Charge Team within a large HA / LA.

The post holder is expected to work flexibly across roles as required including where necessary as part of dedicated or ad hoc Project Team.
