Are you creative? Are you interested in marketing? Do you have experience of assisting with marketing property, often off plan? Are you savvy online? This could be the role for you. We are currently seeking a Marketing Officer to play a key role within the Sales & Marketing team at Optivo.

With an understanding of the fundamentals of property marketing you will assist the Marketing Manager across a variety of new build sites. Working with other team members you'll ensure great ideas are captured and developed. You’ll also ensure these ideas work within Optivo’s brand. Working within the busy Sales & Marketing team, you'll regularly liaise with other departments and third parties to ensure processes are smooth.

The successful candidate will have good understanding of marketing. Ideally you’ll also have understanding of the Low Cost Home Ownership market (shared ownership). As someone who is savvy online you’ll understand the fundamentals of marketing utilising online campaigns and social media.

It is essential that you can work both independently and as part of a team, and be confident when dealing with people at all levels face to face, over the telephone and in writing.

 Knowledge

  • Understanding of fundamentals of property marketing
  • Some understanding of marketing through social media channels
  • Understanding of LCHO products and their eligibility requirements
  • Understanding of the basic development process

Abilities

  • Ability to produce concise summaries of information needed for advertising
  • Ability to sometimes work evenings or weekends to support the wider team
