Beyond Housing is looking for a Project Manager to help deliver our exciting development programme.

Beyond Housing was formed in October 2018 following the merger of Coast & Country Housing and Yorkshire Coast Homes into one organisation. With its main offices in Redcar and Scarborough, Beyond Housing is a registered housing provider responsible for the letting, management and maintenance of over 15,000 homes across the North East and North Yorkshire.

The Development and Regeneration Team is central to the delivery of Beyond Housing’s ambitions to deliver an annual development programme of 400-500 new homes across an operational area covering the North East and North Yorkshire.

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the management of a range of projects to ensure delivery of our challenging and exciting development programme. If you have the skills to lead the management of high value and complex projects then we will consider your application for a Senior Project Manager position. The successful candidate will join our lively development team and will primarily project manage schemes across North Yorkshire. Office location is flexible and based at our offices in Scarborough and Redcar and in addition we offer agile working. Salary dependant on experience between £34,140 rising to £37,082 or £40,349 rising to £43,448, with a generous ‘people offer’.

We are seeking a candidate with knowledge of Homes England policies and procedures, proven ability to understand construction, technical, legal and contractual issues, development experience in private, RP or LA sectors, proven recent experience of delivery of development projects and delivery and experience of negotiation of Section 106 projects. Candidates applying for the senior positon will be expected to have at least 5 years scheme delivery experience and will mentor and provide day to day guidance to project managers within the development team.  In addition to these skills and experience we want someone who is a dynamic team player and who wants to be part of our brilliant team helping to deliver our ambitious programme.
