Customer Service Representative - Sales

Permanent, Full Time

Salary £17,600 to £25,000 per annum

Helping us sell 10,000 new homes through outstanding customer experience.  That’s when it hits home.

We a have fantastic opportunities for New Homes Sales Advisors (known internally by us as Customer Service Sales Representatives) to join our new sales enquiry team and support us in our strategic priority to build and sell 10,000 new homes across the UK.  You’ll provide an outstanding ‘first point of contact’ experience to our customers who are enquiring about buying one of our new homes.  You’ll ensure that every contact (whether through our website, email or phone) is maximised with no sales opportunities missed.  Working together with your colleagues in the wider sales teams based across the country, you’ll smash your sales targets, delight our customers and be an advocate on all of our developments, house types and features.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our award winning team (did you know we’re recognised as developing one of the ‘best houses’ at the recent What House Awards 2018?).  Operating under both our Home Group brand and newly established private sales brand Persona, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in selling affordable apartments to luxury homes, on an outright sale and shared ownership basis. In doing so you’ll be helping hundreds of people get onto and move up the property ladder. How brilliant is that!

You’ll report to Jonathan, our new Sales Operations Manager, working closely with Steve our Head of Sales & Marketing. Steve is passionate about marketing and sales and has over 25 years’ experience in the field. Outside of work Steve loves sport and in particular football, cricket, golf and American Football. He has followed Miami Dolphins for more years than he would care to remember. He also loves going to the gym and trying to stay in shape. He can’t live without the protein porridge he has every day at work (so that’s where he gets his impressive energy from!).

You will be required to be available to our customers outside of standard office hours, which could mean working on evenings and weekends.

A bit about you

You’ll have a brilliant background in sales, housing and customer service.  You will have worked in property sales, estate agency or for a house builder before or have previous relevant contact centre sales experience.  You’ll really impress us with your ability to build excellent rapport with customers and achieving sales leads and targets.  If you have a passion for new homes sales and are able to exceed customer’s expectations, then that would be the icing on the cake (or should we say the sold sign on the door!).
