Care & Support Worker

Working within one of our smaller intermit services as a care & support worker. You will provide dignified care and support to 4 customers whom all have severe learning disabilities and require personal care in addition to general support.
You will be responsible for support plans and liaising with others that support residence on a day to day basis to remain independent. This includes encouraging customers to be as independent as possible and be involved in social activities so they are a valuable part of the community.
Within this role you will be required to work flexibly over a seven day rota including bank holidays. This role is 20 hours a week and includes earlies, lates and sleep ins for which you get an additional payment. There will also be the opportunity to do additional hours to cover holidays if you wish to.
What you`ll need to succeed
This is an ideal opportunity for either someone seeking to start their career in care or taking the next step in your career.Therefor previous experience is not needed, but you must have a passion to provide dignified care to vulnerable adults.Dare to think of different ways to improve customer’s independence and collaborate with others for the benefit of all.
