Test Analyst

2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary: c£40,000 dependant on experience

This exciting and business critical role has been created due to our Fit for the Future Programme, a £20million business and system transformation programme that will bring a positive improvement to both staff and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join the team for the life cycle of the programme and all future system developments to design, prepare and execute QA, SIT, Regression and UAT testing for system releases.

The role will involve reviewing the project requirements to ensure they are clear, concise and testable. We would like you create new test cases in Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) for Quality Assurance, where you will also rank them in terms of priority and impact to enable better test execution planning as well as bug testing and fixes.

The ideal candidate will have ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in software testing (or equivalent). You will also have proven experience in the test basis review process and creating and executing test cases for quality assurance.

Additionally you will have solid knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and a broad knowledge of the Microsoft toolset, including Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL and Azure cloud services.
