And it works. Our trajectory of growth and development has seen us develop more than 6,000 homes in the past decade, and we have ambitious plans to develop substantially more by 2023. But it’s not just growth for its own sake; we recognise that if we’re to carry on delivering ever-better services to ever-more people, in an operating environment of reducing resources and increasing uncertainty, we need to develop the resilience, autonomy and capacity to address the challenges which will inevitably face us in the future.

So assembling the right governance structure is absolutely business-critical. We’re looking for people with intellectual energy, proven ability at the top level of your professional field, and a personal commitment to making a difference to the lives of many thousands of people.

- Audit and Risk Committee

- Health and Safety Committee

- Remuneration and Nomination Committee

To meet our criteria you must have senior managerial expertise in either OD and People Development, Health and Safety or Audit/Risk. Combine these with your ability to think and act quickly and strategically, and you could be one of our new non-executive directors working with like-minded individuals to ensure Accent delivers its ambitious corporate strategy which roots residents at the very heart of its business.
