We have exciting opportunities for two Land Managers, individuals with good experience in the affordable sector, delivering new build housing developments, refurbishment and regeneration.
Your key duties will be to effectively maintain and secure a pipeline of development opportunities to deliver housing growth targets. You will also manage the due diligence, the financial appraisal process contractually securing new land and the planning process.
Proactive in your approach you will research and understand the dynamics of the local housing market, the profile of housing need, demand, competitor activity, land supply as well as keeping up to date with location development initiatives. Further to this you will secure funding and ensure that grant resources from HCA, local authority or internal cross subsidy are maximised and used in the most efficient manner.
The successful candidate must have experience of land and property assembly and acquisition. The ability to undertake complex, financial appraisals for multi tenure development schemes, along with the ability to evaluate risks associated with securing planning permission and contracting with a construction partner.
