Clinical Psychologist

Temporary role up to 9 months (maternity cover)

Full Time (37.5 hpw).  Brilliant work/life balance

Salary £42,450 - £60,000 per annum

Brilliant outcomes through integrated health, housing and care. That’s when it hits home.

This is your chance to be part of something brilliant at Home Group, where clinical interventions work hand in hand with daily support. You’ll be joining us on our exciting journey to become market leaders in New Models of Care by 2021. This means we’re not providing your traditional supported housing services but rather trailblazing the way in delivering brilliant long term outcomes for vulnerable people through integrated health, housing and care.

We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join us in our new service in Gateshead, which provides support to young people (aged 16 to 25 years) with mental health issues and complex needs.  Our service enables young people to move on from 24 hour supported living, to semi-independent shared living, to living independently in the community with floating support – how amazing is that!  You’ll be working alongside an Occupational Therapist and team of Support Workers, ensuring that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety, recovery, wellbeing and maximises independence.

You’ll lead on psychological assessments, formulation and therapy for our customers and provide clinical advice to your colleagues on the day to day support required including interventions.  This will include leading individual and group reflective practice sessions to support the advancement of colleague practice, Psychologically Informed Practice and helping colleagues increase their understanding of mental health to enable brilliant outcomes.  On a day to day basis, you’ll report to Karen our Senior Client Services Manager with your clinical supervision provided by our Clinical Practice team.

What’s even more brilliant, there’s no need to work your way through red tape or mounds of paperwork and forms (as we are digital all the way!)  We’ll give you the latest IT kit (including surface pro tablet and smart phone) and you’ll also have the freedom to help us design this trailblazing service.  We are passionate about revolutionising the wider health care agenda through working closely with our NHS and academic colleagues to provide a seamless service with the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.  You’ll be able to really make your mark, shaping our services/policies, clinical design as well as delivering specialist training to colleagues across Home Group.
