We are currently seeking a Independent Living Officer (Standby Help@Hand) to be based across Ryedale and York on a Temporary contract until 31 March 2020 for 0 hours per week.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality personalised support service to customers, promoting independence and choice.

As Standby Independent Living Officer you will provide day time support covering for the Independent Living Services team whilst they are out on training or annual leave, responding to emergency call outs to sites throughout the relevant zone and visiting individuals in their homes who require assistance.

It would be advantageous for the successful candidate was available to support with evening, night time, weekend and bank holiday cover for the out of hours 24 hour emergency alarm, if required. 

Applicants must have a full drivers licence valid for the UK and access to a vehicle.
