About the role

We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join our Fixed Assets team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

You will be responsible for the accurate accounting, reconciliation and reporting of our completed housing properties, grant and other fixed assets (including intangibles) within one of the Clarion Group's largest Registered Providers.

You will have an essential role in maintaining the Registered Provider's housing property fixed asset register as well as the non-housing fixed asset register. Assisting with the rolling 3 year budget cycles, you'll ensure all Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income movements are accurately forecast.

We'll look to you to reconcile all Statement of Financial Position accounts in line with the Group reconciliation matrix. You'll also ensure that all movements (include grant amortisation and depreciation) are posted to the relevant ledger.

About you

You will be a qualified or part-qualified financial accountant, with membership of a CCAB body, with audit experience preferable.

The ideal candidate will also have experience of fixed-asset accounting under Financial Reporting Standard 102.

You will have a commitment to achieving customer service excellence, together with strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

You will need to be proficient in IT systems including Word, Outlook and Financial databases, with excellent Excel skills - with use of functions, including Lookups and IF functions essential and macros preferable.
