Job Title: Customer Services Advisor
Grade: Scale 4
Reports To: Customer Service Team Leader
 
The Main Purpose of the role: 
 
To promote and deliver the highest standards of customer care in providing a professional, helpful and knowledgeable service over the phone, at our public receptions and via a range of other channels.  


Responsibilities:  

  • To maintain a polite, friendly, helpful and effective customer focused approach when carrying out all duties.
  • Provide a professional and knowledgeable service when responding to all enquiries, and strive to resolve these at the first point of contact. 
  • Ensure that correspondence, enquiries and complaints are dealt with accurately, effectively and within target timescales.  
  • Provide general advice and signpost customers to other departments and / or agencies that can offer further support, particularly in cases of vulnerability.     
  • To promote and support residents to use on-line services, reducing face to face and phone contacts. 
  • To work diligently towards achieving qualitative and quantitative performance KPIs completing work in accordance with agreed targets and timescales.  
  • Ensure all work reflects Lewisham Homes’ corporate objectives and values.  
  • Participate fully and effectively in team working and contribute to a culture of continuous performance improvement.  
  • Take responsibility for own learning and development to ensure an effective value added contribution to the Service and Organisation’s objectives are maintained.

Generic responsibilities  

  • Complete work in accordance with agreed targets and timescales.
  • Ensure all work reflects Lewisham Homes’ corporate objectives and values.
  • Participate fully and effectively in team working and contribute to a culture of continuous performance improvement.
  • Comply with all Lewisham Homes policies, including contractual standing orders, financial regulations and all HR policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity. 
  • Take responsibility for own learning and development to ensure an effective value added contribution to the Service and Organisation’s objectives are maintained.
