Clinical Governance Manager

Permanent

Salary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne

Keeping our customers safe through robust clinical governance.  That’s when it hits home.

Be part of something brilliant at Home Group, where clinical interventions work hand in hand with daily care and support. We’re delivering brilliant long term outcomes for vulnerable people through integrating health, housing and care.  You’ll be joining us on our exciting journey to become market leaders in New Models of Care by 2021.

We have a brilliant opportunity for you to lead clinical governance (also known as quality governance) for our specialist services at Home Group, ensuring that we keep our customers safe and our services compliant to legal, contractual, regulatory and clinical governance principles.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Clinical Governance Manager to shape this brand new role at Home Group, providing specialist guidance and support on clinical governance to our board, commissioners, regulators and Operational Managers.

You’ll be our organisational lead for duty of candour, CAS/NICE alerts, practice and CQC compliance audits, leading on the development and implementation of clinical governance systems, processes and policies.   You’ll lead the production of information for our clinical governance committee and CQC panel meetings as well as managing our in house clinical governance team in the delivery of effective clinical governance, management of customer safety incidents and robust clinical risk management.

You’ll be working for Nic, our Director of Clinical Practice whose passions are getting out in the country for walks with her daughter and bouncy black Labrador.  Not only is she super clever completing her doctorate in 2015, she has amazing vision for developing the future of new models of care and clinical practice at Home Group.  You’ll be managing our small but perfectly formed and developing clinical governance team.
