The Role

We are seeking two experienced Development Managers to help us drive forward the housing company by delivering new mixed tenure developments on both Council land and through site assembly. You will formulate plans, identify and procure land, engage in development and joint venture opportunities to generate new business for a land bank of sites, and generate a forward development pipeline.

Your land purchasing expertise will enable us to secure new opportunities to meet our Business Plan ambitions across Oxford and into the wider Growth area. The Development Managers will lead the client-side land buying team including full due diligence in agreeing various forms of purchase contracts. As eager and successful networkers with commercial acumen, you will attract all the key housing development partners to be the partner of choice.

The Candidate

Your development experience will include delivering large and/or complex sites and project management, to support our wider regeneration and investment across the City.

Your key skills will also include a successful track record of securing planning consents, financial scheme appraisal and modelling, cash-flow reporting and diligence in maintaining complex project files.

You will have proven procurement experience to lead multi-disciplinary teams of consultants from scheme inception to JCT build contracts and going forward through a range of joint ventures.

As our developments provide a full range of tenures, your experience of delivering market housing for sale and rent in a competitive environment will prove invaluable.

As part of a larger team of Senior Development Officers reporting to the Housing Delivery Manager, you will be working in a stimulating and rewarding environment making a real change to the pace of delivery of homes for all.
