Job Details

Peabody is looking for a Digital Communications Apprentice to help build the Peabody brand, influence and modernise our service by creating compelling content for our digital channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a proactive social media plan across all of our channels. Research, create and publish online content to multiple channels to support the delivery of the communications strategy
  • Support the management and monitoring of social media accounts across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram ensuring customer enquiries are effectively handled.
  • Prepare news stories and develop videos for the corporate website, supporting the Senior External Affairs Manager in building our profile and influence
  • Develop and produce our resident newsletter, measuring impact and making suggestions to improve and build engagement
  • Create and deliver creative digital campaigns to engage people in the work of our community foundation.
  • Ensure a consistent brand tone of voice across all online channels..
  • Report on the performance of all social media and digital communication campaigns; including ROI and KPI's (good working knowledge of Google Analytics is a must).
  • Develop and monitor the effectiveness of SEO campaigns (including keyword research and link-building) – good working knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
  • Support overall planning of digital campaigns through creation and maintenance of content calendars and plans.
  • Undertake digital marketing apprenticeship training / qualification

 

Skills/experience required:

  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to develop creative and engaging content which is human and kind
  • Some experience in managing digital communications within a business context.
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Good understanding of social media management.
  • Some understanding of Google Analytics or similar digital analytics tools.
  • Some experience of editing imagery and knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
  • An analytical thinker with the ability to research, report and analyse data.
  • Possess a keen eye for design and copywriting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

 

Qualifications required:

  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or higher (A-C equivalent) including Maths and English or a Level 2 apprenticeship in business related discipline
