Development Manager

We are seeking a Development Manager on a permanent contract to join us to provide high quality homes to our customers, you will be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual that has excellent communication and organisation skills to manage and grow our development pipeline across Torbay and the South West.  Working with the Director of Asset Management, Investment and Housing, the Development Manager will lead on the delivery of our housing development programme ensuring that from the initial planning stage projects are delivered on time, within budget and resulting high quality housing.

Day to day responsibilities will include developing briefs for projects, running financial viability appraisals, negotiating legal agreements, procuring consultants and contractors, effectively managing risk and leading the delivery of mixed tenure housing development projects.
