About Us

For Broxtowe Borough Council, housing is a top priority and our aim is to provide good quality affordable homes for our residents.  We have retained ownership and management of our approx. 4,500 housing stock and have been building new Council houses in modest numbers for the past 10 years.

The Role

You will be joining a senior management team that is motivated by a passion to make a positive difference to our community.

Taking a strategic role in overseeing the full range of housing and landlord services the majority of which are provided in-house, you must be resilient and creative in order to lead a team of managers to achieve the best outcomes and make continuous improvement regardless of resource constraints.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Housing you will need to demonstrate significant enthusiasm, vitality and strong and proven leadership skills to drive the service forward and continue to push the boundaries.

In return you will receive an excellent benefits package and a rewarding career.

The working week is nominally one of 37 hours.  However, the seniority and nature of the post will necessitate the working of additional hours for which there will be no additional payment.  The grading of the post takes account of the requirement to work outside of the normal working week. There will be a requirement to attend evening meetings.
