The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Retirement Housing Team.  This role is based   in Camden at a newly redeveloped Retirement Housing Scheme due to open in July 2019.  The successful candidate will be working as part of a wider team of Scheme Managers providing a high quality housing service to 24 older people in the Camden area.

You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults in a semi-independent housing service, experience of resettlement and tenancy sustainment as well as a strong understanding of the needs of Older People. Experience of working on projects would be desirable. You will also have experience of completing risk assessments and possess a sound knowledge of welfare benefits and health and safety procedures for this type of service. This post is predominantly lone working so you must be able to prioritise your work and meet firm deadlines.

Do you have strong communication skills with the ability to promote independence, encourage tenant participation in activities and in service delivery?  Are you a team player and able to foster good working relationships with tenants, families, colleagues and external partners?
