Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Don't miss out on this trainee opportunity! We're looking for a bright and enthusiastic Trainee Neighbourhood Response Officer to join the existing team on a permanent basis working at either our March or Norwich office.

About you/the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a new career in an exciting business. You'll have the ability to work on your own initiative assisting with the delivery of quality consistent and pro-active housing and tenancy management services to a range of tenure types with a view to supporting and strengthening sustainable communities. You'll work within your assigned geographical patch and use your excellent customer service skills with problem solving and dealing with potentially complex situations.

We offer the opportunity to study for a Charter Institute of Housing, Housing Level 3 which will take up to 18 months to complete and study for your NVQ qualification. You'll develop new key skills and behaviours which will support your personal development and progression within the role of Trainee Neighbourhood Response Officer. Where you have not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, you must do so before taking the end-point assessment. You will also need to have achieved at least 2 A Levels (or equivalent) at A-C.

Other duties include:

  • Work collaboratively with local partners such as safer neighbourhood teams, the voluntary sector and youth services on neighbourhood safety and ASB issues, for ad hoc or routine meetings as appropriate.
  • Liaise with other Clarion departments on neighbourhood improvements and services
  • Conduct viewings and sign ups or tenancy assignments.
  • Visit customers in their home on a range of other issues to support safeguarding, anti-social behaviour
