Clarion Housing is the largest social landlord in the country with 360,000 residents, and our repairs and maintenance service is critical to our success.

We've recently opened new offices in Stevenage and are looking to build a team of diligent and resilient people responsible for making sure our repairs and maintenance service is efficiently delivered and is highly customer focused. We have a choice of roles available with full and part time shift work and would welcome your application.

Resource Planners

As a Resource Planner, you'll be tasked with allocating appointment slots to arrange repairs to resident's properties, and track the progress of our team of maintenance operatives to ensure these repairs are completed within their priority deadline. We'll look to you to schedule all holiday, sickness and staff training time in operative's diaries, as well as any necessary follow-on works.

Ideally, you'll already have demonstrable experience of working with resource scheduling software in a logistical customer focused environment and experience of scheduling teams within a repairs and maintenance environment.

Contract Administrators

As a Contract Administrator, you'll be providing highly effective clerical, analytical and essential support to our Systems, Compliance and Commercial teams. You'll be required to be quick thinking, analytical and detailed with the ability to adapt to a fast paced office environment. We'll look to you to assist various roles and methodologies whilst ensuring our process and procedures support our wider business objectives.

Ideally, you'll already have demonstrable experience of working as an administrator in a logistical customer focused environment and experience of administration within a repairs and maintenance environment.

Team Leaders

We're seeking Team Leaders to ensure our team of Resource Planners and Administrators provide efficient and effective services to our customers and operatives. The Team Leaders are responsible for developing, implementing and managing all business administration activities including resource and task allocation, cross-role training and overall team management to meet our operational aims and objectives.

To be a successful Team Leader, you'll need to be a role model with team working skills, personal integrity and credibility and have a proven ability to collaborate with both internal, external colleagues and partners at a senior level.

For all roles, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an aptitude for close team working are essential. In return we offer you a competitive salary, potential to extend your experience and good training and support.

Apprentices

We welcome applications from anyone seeking an Apprenticeship opportunity on a permanent basis.

Each of the three roles is available as an Apprenticeship - the qualification will take between 16 and 20 months to complete.

Planners and Administrators Apprentices will be required to undertake a Business Admin Level Apprenticeship and Team Leaders Apprentices will be required to undertake a Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship

Whilst studying, apprentices will have the opportunity to earn up to 80% of the respective salary
