About the role
Gentoo have a new and exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to identify and win opportunities to deliver Gentoo’s affordable development programme. You will be part of the team responsible for implementing our £117m affordable homes programme which will deliver more than 900 new homes over the next five years.
You will be part of the Development team who will secure our pipeline of development, managing projects from feasibility through to planning submission ensuring that our development proposals meet KPI’s and are of high design quality.
You will be responsible for contributing to the overall Group strategy by delivering on development objectives ensuring the organisation is able to respond positively and appropriately to challenges and opportunities.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative and experienced individual with a successful track record of delivering housing development programmes at manager level. Strong financial and commercial awareness and with an understanding of development pressure relating to housing development in the region.
The successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to empower individuals through a shared passion for creating great homes, strong communities and inspiring people.
