The Pivotal Homes Group provides quality housing, specialist support and compassionate care to almost 400 single vulnerable people with a variety of needs. We work closely with local authorities and health service commissioners across a number of locations including Dorset, Cornwall and Gloucester. Further activities of the group include the acquisition and development of properties in readiness for letting.
Pivotal appointed a new CEO this year and has a new strategy focussing on developing our existing services and creating new services.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role of Group Accountant will help take Pivotal forward into the future. The role is responsible for providing a comprehensive accounting service for all group companies including group consolidated accounts, reporting to stakeholders, budgeting/forecasting, value adding quality analysis, tax compliance, financial management & investment appraisal, treasury, statutory audit and managing a team. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and member of a CCAB body with minimum 5 years PQE, experienced with minimum 3 years in a housing association, property acquisitions & redevelopment, preparing corporation tax computations, VAT, FP&A and managing staff.
