We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Operations Manager and are looking for exceptional people to lead on the delivery of a high quality, efficient and compliant estate management service across the Region.

You'll work with the Regional Management Team to develop the strategic direction of the Estate Services function in North London, and to embed it within the teams through the delivery of the Regional Operational Plan.

We'll look to you to lead on a strong and robust performance management culture and framework with high standards of services and effective control. This will include ensuring external contracts are effectively and efficiently managed, and in-house teams are providing an excellent service to residents

You'll provide leadership to the team to ensure residents are receiving good value for money; this will entail proactively leading your team to deliver on the agreed KPIs in order to improve our services and drive resident satisfaction.

You'll be expected to be innovative and allow space for new ideas, whether from the team, other regions or external best practice

You'll already be an experienced senior manager with technical knowledge in delivering a safe and financially viable service. You'll have a track record of successfully developing, implementing and embedding a strategy to fundamentally transform an estate management service in the context of an urban, inner London area with a diverse range of stock and communities.

To be successful in this role, you'll also need:

  • Experience of planning, managing budgets and monitoring financial performance.
  • Detailed and up-to-date knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Established track record of delivering results and continuous improvements in service delivery
  • Ability to influence and negotiate including supporting the delivery of cultural change
  • Experience of delivering collaborative working relationships with customer and partner groups
  • Experience of changing contractual arrangements and bringing services in-house
