Head of Service – East Anglia and Kent

 

Covering East Anglia and Kent - Base location flexible as long as within the regions covered

 

£80,601 per annum (rising to £84,843 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance) - plus company car/allowance

 

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Service to join our Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) team. With full responsibility for East Anglia and Kent and leading over 1000 staff, the successful candidate will ensure and enforce compliance with statutory legislation and best practice, in line with the Group’s aims and objectives.

Reporting to the Operations Director – Supported Living, the successful candidate will play a crucial role within the senior management structure and will be at the forefront in leading the delivery of our high quality services and further enhancing SSL’s exceptional reputation.

Driving our continued success and enabling the business to meet its strategic targets while also implementing changes that positively impact our customers, requires someone with proven experience of undertaking a leadership role in a similar environment (CQC services and housing support). We are seeking substantial experience and proven achievement of leading a team, setting and working to deadlines, prioritising workloads within defined timelines and budgets and delivering projects and programmes in a large complex organisation.

 

As an ambassador for SSL and Sanctuary Retirement Living, you will report and present information concerning financial performance, housing KPI’s and CQC regulations, to key stakeholders to support decision making, business planning and compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, you will determine priorities, establish processes, build internal and external relationships and lead change projects with a strategic focus to support short, medium and long term aims and objectives.

 

Your leadership experience and degree management qualification gained within the housing and social care sector is of great interest to us, as are your results in service delivery, outstanding business planning abilities and impressive communication skills allowing you to communicate at all levels. You will be adaptable, flexible and must be prepared to travel extensively, in support of service needs.  In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
