Raven Housing Trust has a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives. When you join us as an Investment Development Manager – where you will be responsible for maximising the social and financial return of existing Raven assets – you’ll also be focused on delivering a service that keeps our residents and other customers satisfied.

We are a social business, investing in homes and lives across Surrey and Sussex to create and support flourishing communities. Everyone at Raven believes in taking personal responsibility for ensuring that we deliver exactly what we promise – because that’s how you build trust, security and a sense of belonging.

As Investment Development Manager, you will have a real opportunity to shape new development projects. You will review existing Raven assets and make recommendations for their future use. You will have a real opportunity to be creative and help us create new communities and a real sense of place. You will be able to work closely with the ‘Building Better’ project which is seeking to improve how we and other RPs procure offset projects.

To secure this exciting opportunity, you will be a passionate and experienced project manager, preferably with some experience of delivery on existing RP land and have a background in brownfield, non-s106 site delivery. An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong financial appraisal, interpersonal and organisational skills, you will also have sound understanding of affordable housing development, planning, and development and construction working legal knowledge.

Most importantly, you share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

When you join Raven, you’ll become an integral part of a 220+ team of talented, enthusiastic and innovative people who are committed to building communities. We don’t just invest in neighbourhoods, we invest in our people too. We offer good salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, 27 days’ paid holiday (FTE) plus bank and statutory holidays, sickness benefit and a comprehensive package of H&S and personal development training to enable staff to develop their skills and careers.
