New Business Manager

This is a key role within the Development team. You will have a real opportunity to drive forward our ambitions and considering innovative ways to deliver sites. You will be a bold thinker. You will lead on securing sites in Raven’s areas of operation for development and secure planning consents and partnership deals, ready for the Delivery team to procure construction contracts and build out. You will also manage a New Business Project Manager who will be able to support you.
To secure this exciting opportunity, we’re looking for a professional, flexible and commercially savvy individual who has land buying experience for residential development (affordable, private or both) and experience of contract negotiations, managing projects through the acquisition and planning process and financial modelling.
An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, you will have strong networking, negotiating and interpersonal skills, while a sound understanding of planning law, process and practice and the Development process across affordable housing and market sale delivery is also vital.
