In the effective delivery of these services, we have an opportunity for a 36.25 hours per week, permanent post based at Templar House, Newton Abbot with travel.
As the Support Services Area Manager you will lead and manage the operational work and development of Westward’s support services in Plymouth, Cornwall and Torbay ensuring delivery of the Westward Support business plan. You will also manage Westward’s agency managed services as well as support the development of new services and lead the bidding process within your area.
You will work with key local authorities, commissioning bodies and commissioners, partner agencies as well as the Westward Support Management Team, Assistant Directors and all other staff in the Support Services directorate.
As Area Manager you will be responsible for performance, delivery, management and development of high quality support services. In addition, you will ensure services provided meet clients’ needs and aspirations, and comply with standards and requirements of the organisation and regulators.
