Floating Sheltered Scheme Coordinator

Who we're looking for
If you have experience of working in social housing or a similar field, ideally coupled with an understanding of older people or other vulnerable client groups and would welcome the chance to work across a geographical patch, we may have the opportunity for you.
We are currently looking for a Floating Scheme Services Co-ordinator whose primary role is to provide cover for staff absence at our sheltered housing schemes across the London area. But the job is much more than that as you will also become involved in helping residents with all kinds of housing management and tenancy issues, liaising with other agencies and ensuring the safety and security of both our residents and schemes.
You will need great organisational skills, a natural empathy for building relationships with older people and the ability work successfully with a range of other organisations. A key member of the Sheltered Services Team we are looking for a strong team player who is able to communicate well with their colleagues and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Whatever your background a passion for delivering great customer service is vital whether you are signing-up a new resident, speaking to a contractor about a repair or organising specialist support with a colleague. Working closely with the Sheltered Services Manager you will have a unique opportunity to gain a great insight into all of the schemes across the patch and be able to contribute ideas about how to continue to improve the service. Travel costs between sites are paid.
