bpha is a Housing Association located in the Oxford to Cambridge corridor, which is committed to providing its customers with high quality, value for money services whilst continuing to develop energy efficient, sustainable and affordable housing.

We are currently looking for an experienced construction/trades professional to join us as a Clerk of Works.  With a view to ensuring that all works are completed to a satisfactory standard, the role will specialise in End of Defects.

What you will be doing:

  • Undertaking all end of defect inspections.
  • Completing onsite quality inspections of workmanship, material and design compliance.
  • Following up contractors and ensuring that all works are completed to agreed standards.
  • Liaising closing with residents of bpha and Bushmead Homes to ensure they are happy with the work completed.

We’d love to meet someone with: 

  • Sound construction technical knowledge.
  • A trade background and ideally experience working in a Site Manager or Contract Manager role.
  • A good understanding of building regulations, NHBC standards (or equivalent) and good building practice.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
