About the Role

We have an opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours) Support Worker to join our service Warren Court. We are looking for somebody who wants a rewarding and varied role working with adults with learning disability and mental health problems.

Working as part of a team, you will provide appropriate, personalised support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to develop and maximise their independence.

If you have previously worked in a care setting or health and social care field and have experience of providing support to vulnerable people then this role could be perfect for you.

You will also need to:

  • Demonstrate a person centred approach and an understanding of confidentiality
  • Use your own initiative and carry out practical tasks as and when required
  • Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday
  • Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support
  • Be flexible in your approach to work
  • Have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting people with learning disabilities
