St Mungo’s have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Housing Management to develop and promote best practice in housing management and to set a clear framework for monitoring and improvement. Applications can be considered on a full-time or part-time basis.

Being Head of Housing Management at St Mungo’s is an opportunity to use your leadership skills and housing management experience to play a key role in ensuring housing management is embedded within the organisation so all St Mungo’s homeless and vulnerable clients are able to develop the skills to move on successfully.

St Mungo’s is a homeless charity and housing association who work across London and the south of England, providing a bed and support to 2,700 people a night. We are a forward thinking organisation that thrives upon the ideas, ambitions and diversity of our people.

Being Head of Housing Management, you will be responsible for monitoring the consistency and quality of housing management across the numerous housing projects within the organisation. You should possess an aptitude for managing change and culture and establishing and embedding new Policies and Procedures. Introducing stronger degrees of control and oversight for local decision making and accountability, you will lead on determining the structure to make that work.

We are looking for an individual who can bring creativity and innovation to drive housing management to the next level through continuous improvement.  If you are a highly organised leader, with an eye for detail, who can think strategically, effectively manage projects with excellent people skills to influence, motivate, and form good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a 6% pension contribution and generous and very popular flexi-time scheme enabling you to balance your work and home life and accrue additional days off work to supplement your 25 days annual holiday.  We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities and we are an accredited Investor in People organisation.
