Since 1979 Thenue Housing Association has provided high quality homes to local residents at affordable prices, registered as a social landlord the organisation provides a number of services to tenants and local communities. Thenue now owns and manages just under 3,000 properties and continues to develop new build homes and deliver community regeneration objectives.

Thenue is now looking for a new Head of Community Housing Services to join their executive team and work towards the delivery of Thenue’s Vision, Values and Strategic Objectives. The new leader will hold overall responsibility for Area Services & Repairs, Income Maximisation, Housing Support, and Community Regeneration Services. The organisation is currently shaping their strategy post 2020 and delivering a number of community projects which range from health and wellbeing to digital inclusion.
The successful candidate will have experience of leading and motivating a complex staff team whilst managing the delivery of frontline housing management projects and associated services. Substantial experience at a senior management level within a complex or relevant size organisation will also be essential, as well as working knowledge of housing law.
This is a key position within Glasgow’s housing and holds responsibility for a significant staff team delivering key services and projects for tenants and communities across various localities in Glasgow. The role is a platform for a strong leader to positively impact a vast number of people and communities through excellent housing and related community services.
