About the scheme
Lake House is set in mature landscaped gardens to the north west of Southampton city centre. Altogether there are 28 apartments with the ground floor properties having direct access to the gardens and many of the upper floors having balconies.
Lake House is located on the outskirts of Southampton city centre. Local shops and transport links are within walking distance of the scheme.
The scheme offers independent living for those over the age of 60 with communal residents lounge and conservatory, visitor's suite and laundry facilities.
Car parking spaces are offered on a first come first served basis.
What you'll be doing
We need a reliable, enthusiastic person to manage our developments and help residents maintain their well-being and independence. Winning the confidence and trust of residents, building relationships with their relatives and carers and liaising with social services and other agencies is crucial to the role.
A varied remit includes monitoring contractors' performance, ensuring buildings are clean and secure, reporting faults, maintaining records and accounting for expenditure.
What we're looking for
This role will suit someone who is calm, sensitive and approachable; you'll be capable of communicating with people from all backgrounds, handling petty cash and keeping accurate records. Your helpful, sympathetic personality will be matched by your strong organisational skills and ability to work under your own initiative.
