Are you looking for a new challenge working within our HR team?
We're looking for an exceptional Employee Relations Advisor to join our excellent HR team to provide advice and guidance on a broad range of employee relations issues. This is a fixed term, full time role and is based at our Borehamwood office but will require regular travel across the region.
Working for the UK's largest Housing Association you'll be responsible for all casework / employee relations issues across your business area and have an excellent knowledge of current UK employment legislation, case law and best practice. We'll look to you to provide sound, pragmatic advice to managers and employees to deliver high quality support and guidance.
Some of the key duties include:
- Take the HR lead for informal and first stage disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases, advising and, where necessary, attending formal hearings.
- Ensure all cases are managed in accordance with policy and procedure, including all associated documentation.
- Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on handling sensitive staff issues
To be successful in the role you'll be confident, organised and able to work on your own initiative. You'll have a natural ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation. You'll enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be able to demonstrate a logical, problem solving approach.
