Home Ownership Officer
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and care and support services. We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.
You will be responsible for the processing of Right to Buy / acquire, lease extensions, subletting, alterations and other permissions, landlord enquiries and other sales transactions.
You will communicate and discuss with customers their eligibility as well as keeping them up to date with the status of their transaction.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to explain complex or technical information to a variety of audiences – both internal and external.
- The ability to read and interpret leases.
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer services.
- Empathy with the values and ethos of the organisation
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Basic legal knowledge of other home ownership products.
