Multi Skilled Joiner/Plumber

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner/Plumber to join our Homeworks team here at Yorkshire Housing. The main purpose of this role is to deliver a high quality and efficient kitchen/bathroom installation programme for the customers of Yorkshire Housing.

What the role involves:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installations of kitchens and all related joinery tasks including first and second fix plumbing
  • Wall and floor finishes, including screeding, plaster patching to full re boarding and skimming
  • Other wall finishes, including preparation and applying of emulsion and gloss paints
  • Installations of bathrooms, to include first and second fix plumbing. To include standard suites and wet room suites as required and disabled Impey tray installations
  • Other impactful duties as per the attached job description.

     

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have Building/Joinery/ Plumbing qualification (C&G, NVQ or equivalent or time served experience with extensive experience of installing a high volume of kitchens and bathrooms. You should also possess a variety of trade skills and an understanding of the sequence of works required for kitchen and bathroom installations with a willingness to work flexible hours.

What can you expect:

In return we offer £28,558 for a 37.5 hour week, 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
