Do you have extensive experience in the leadership of a large in-house repairs and maintenance organization?

If so, are you safety focused, passionate about people and do you know what customer excellence looks like?

Fix360 is a dynamic Contractor that provides a growing suite of property maintenance services to 28,000 properties owned by Your Housing Group (YHG) across the North of England. With a strong value proposition, our vision is to deliver 100% of YHGs repairs and maintenance works by 2026 and to achieve this we need great people.

We are looking for a Head of Repairs and Maintenance to come and lead our repairs and maintenance business unit (BU) which has a current headcount of 250+ and a cost base greater than £12m p/annum.

As Head of Repairs and Maintenance, reporting direct to the Managing Director, you will lead from the front by example and take full responsibility for the BU as set out by the company's overall strategy. You will be a key member of an established Senior Leadership Team with considerable internal and external interactions. As BU lead you will be responsible for H&S, people and comms, customer satisfaction, BU performance and continuous improvement of services.

To be successful, you will be adept in delivering ‘best in class’ services in similar environments and have excellent management skills. With entrepreneurial spirit, you'll demonstrate experience in translating business targets into delivery through insourcing options.

The seniority of this role requires experience and confidence advising and reporting at board level, along with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

Ideally you will be a driver of people with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, proven in motivating your teams to deliver successful outcomes for all parties. You will be experienced in a contracting environment and will be comfortable working within a matrix structure. This is not an asset strategy role. You will however input to and shape our parent company asset maintenance strategy.

As a strategic thinker, you may have chartered status in a relevant discipline covering building and construction (or equivalent) experience and be passionate about developing a diverse work force.

In return, we offer; a competitive Salary of up to £80,000 plus 9% car allowance, contributory pension (matched to 8%), private medical insurance, flexible working, health benefits cash scheme, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.

This is a valuable opportunity for the right candidate to work in a highly supportive environment to achieve business and personal objectives.
