As a Housing Progression Officer you will work with key workers, to support our clients move on from our services. You will be supported by the Housing Management team, to source properties for our clients to move into. The role is focussed on establishing relationships with local private sector organisations and Housing Associations to develop a range of move on housing options for Sutton clients.

To be successful you will have a sound understanding of the London housing market, building successful relationships, and of the difficulties that clients may experience when moving into new accommodation.  You will also have knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits and entitlements.

Overall, you will have a passion for supporting some of the most socially excluded individuals in the borough and ensuring that they have access to the same opportunities as other people in the wider community.
