We have an exciting role for a Housing Support Worker available in our Sutton Service.

The successful applicant will key work a caseload of clients with low-medium support needs. This will take place in supported accommodation or the client’s own homes. You will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners to support clients through their recovery.

These positions do not involve shift work and offers flexible working hours, Monday to Friday.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this highly rewarding role you will have an excellent understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people – you may have had personal experience of homelessness yourself. You will have some experience of helping vulnerable people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of change. You will also have a sound understanding of the support needs of people with low incomes, including rent payments/arrears and professional boundary issues.
