Job Details
Clarion is the largest housing group in the UK with an ambitious growth trajectory. Our business plan is supported by a raft of commercial activities, including our new homes sales division, driving revenue for the Group. With a growing pipeline of new developments and our expanding geographical reach, we're recruiting a Senior Regional Sales Manager to work in our East region, reporting into the National Sales Director.
Currently, there are 3 other regions (London, South and North & Central) and they will each potentially deliver 500-1000 new home sales a year, as we reach our growth aspirations - making each region a significant sales operation in its own right, competing alongside the major housebuilders. We're looking for candidates who have experience of working at a senior level to take responsibility for managing and delivering a volume of sales projects with a proven track record of driving performance or the ability and potential to quickly step up to this level.
We're active in the private sale market under our Latimer sales brand, but we also deliver a high volume of shared ownership homes and the roles will cover the sale of both tenures. Increasingly we're aligning the products and customer journey. We're also committed to delivering growth through joint ventures where we can work at scale with a joint venture partner. We're focused on optimising our commercial activities to drive excellent place making and reinvest profits into the Group's social objectives.
Clarion is a fast paced commercial environment. As our scale and brands develop, this is an exciting period to join the Group and help shape our operation and market position.
Some of the key duties include:
- To be a proactive member of the Sales & Marketing Regional Management Team reporting to the National Sales Director, contributing to overall sales strategy and operational performance in the region.
- Lead responsibility for managing all sales activity on a volume of sale sites from start to finish - private sales, shared ownership sales and any other sale product activity
- Responsibility for driving sales performance across projects to exceed budget targets
- To support the National Sales Director with project management of joint venture sales activity
- Provide management and leadership of your sales team and agents to drive sales performance
We are looking for highly experienced Sales Managers with demonstrable knowledge of the property market and experience delivering new build sales. We're looking for an excellent negotiator with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide audience.
You'll have the ability to carry out market appraisals of new opportunities to use judgement and evidence based decision making to assess risk and potential value. You'll also be able to demonstrate skills and experience of product optimisation.
If you have extensive experience of working with developers and house builders and the ability to maximise new build developments through design, mix, specification and creativity we want to hear from you!
Closing Date: Sunday 20th October at midnight
Interviews will be held on Monday 28th October 2019 at our More London Place office
