Riverside Housing have a new opportunity for a Sourcing Manager. This role will be based at our head office in Speke, Liverpool.

What will you do?

As one of three Sourcing Managers, you will work in a team with Riverside’s two Category Leads.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing fit-for-purpose strategies and sourcing plans and establishing cost-effective supply arrangements.

As a leader on procurement projects, you will provide support and expertise for business-led procurement activity.

Day-to-day

Your key accountabilities for this role will include reviewing spend data to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings, procuring above and below OJEU threshold contracts and working with the Procurement Analyst to provide bespoke spend and budget data and information.

You will also Develop and deliver mobilisation plans and agree the point of transition from procurement to business as usual (BAU) activity, manage internal and external stakeholders effectively (acting as the gateway to procurement) and maintain accurate procurement records.

Who do you need to be?

We are looking to engage with professionals with procurement and category management experience with a track record of delivering robust commercial contracts and agreements which achieve demonstrable business benefits and financial savings.
A professional qualification (such as an MCIPS or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential for the role. Experience of working in the Public Sector and operating within an OJEU Procurement Regulated environment would be desirable.
