Care & Support Team Leader

You will be supervising and leading a team of support workers and wellbeing coordinator.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and business requirements, while delivering excellent, personalised, value for money services to customers. The primary objective of the service is to promote independent living for our customers.
We support 53 customers in a purpose built service. All the customers are older people and you will support them to maintain a dignified standard of living and to live as independently as possible. While personal care will be required your focus is on encouraging inclusion and be a significant support to our customers.
What you`ll need to succeed
This is a first step into managing people and you will need to demonstrate the ability to lead by example. While previous management experience is not essential, as we will support those looking to develop, you must demonstrate the ability to supervisor others and lead by example.In addition you will be able to manage your time effectively and have a clear understanding of risk management and safeguarding.
As you will be the senior member of staff you will need substantial experience of supporting vulnerable adults and preferably older people. This should include developing support plans and working with relevant third parties and family members.You will be required to undertake a number of admin tasks that supports the effective running of the service so good IT and organisation skills are required.
