Job Details

We’re looking for a customer-focused individual with energy, experience and a strong sense of purpose to join us as an Allocations Coordinator.

One of the UK’s leading housing associations, Catalyst is here to make a purposeful difference by providing housing solutions for those who can’t afford a home without our help. We offer a wide range of homes, for rent, part ownership or purchase. By doing so, we build more than homes – we build communities. Put simply, we’re committed to our social purpose - in every part of our organisation. And, we always seek to do better. If you do too, read on.

You will seek to understand fully your customers’ needs, identifying and working to remove pain points, and always doing what you say you will.

You will work as part of the Allocations team, which manages all lettings and transfers within the organisation.  You will be responsible for the provision of data for local authorities, meeting nomination targets, as well as coordinating decanting and mutual exchange schemes.

You will provide accurate letting and void statistics for local authorities. You will ensure that the lettings function is delivered to a high standard by obtaining property attributes, advertising units in the LOCATA housing options system; actioning shortlists and obtaining verifications and advising Neighbourhood Experience Managers.

You are passionate about delivering excellent customer experience every time, by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way you deal with customers and colleagues. You are detail focused and have the ability to ensure strict compliance with general and scheme specific nomination agreements (and local lettings plans).

You will be adept at working to tight deadlines, and conscious of the need for timely action. You will have a good level of knowledge of Housing Association lettings practices, you are able to deliver this expertise in a multi-region Allocations service. You are personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities.
