About the scheme

Mansion Court is a block of 41 leasehold retirement apartments located in Southsea, close to the seafront. It is made up of 31 one bedroomed flats and 10 two bedroom flats.

Accommodation: The manager's flat is a ground floor, corner apartment with two bedrooms.

Scheme managers are each responsible for their bills (council tax, electricity, TV licence, personal phone, etc) with the exception of the following expenses which are paid by Grange Management Ltd;

  • Rental of business phone + business calls charge
  • Water bills.
  • Contents insurance

Communal facilities: Consist of a manager's office, communal laundry, guest room with shower room, communal lounge, conservatory and kitchen.

There is one car park and car parking is on a first come first served basis, with the manager having their own space.

We are currently looking for a Resident Scheme Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis.

What you'll be doing

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence and support the delivery of quality property management services which respond to customer and business needs. You'll be building and maintaining effective relationships with residents, their relatives and relevant external agencies as well as welcoming new residents.

You'll be dealing with generic leaseholder matters including neighbour disputes and breaches of lease seeking assistance when required from Regional Manager.

What we're looking for

You must be self-motivated, demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and good customer skills and have a proven track record in providing services to those with a support need. Above all we are looking for someone with a patient and caring personality and a commitment to service excellence.
