BI Developer

Accent are looking for an experienced BI developer to design and develop innovative solutions whilst supporting the overall data and information strategy.

As part of our new Data and Information Team, you will work closely with rest of ICT to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with our internal customers and business partners to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solving attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new and innovative analytical solutions that meet customer requirements -operational scorecards / dashboards for senior managers.
• Creating business intelligence solutions that meet business requirements on time
• To work closely with the business users to understand requirements; convert into technical solutions; design and develop reports and visualisations that meet business needs
• Develop SQL queries to produce reports and conduct analyses
• Translate business needs into technical specification
• Lead projects and collect accurate data for analysis. Develop and manage project plans, test designs, sampling and other documents
• Where required, design the means to populate systems, cleanse data and interfaces between systems

Experience:

• Experience of using data visualisation tools such as QlikView/Qlik Sense
• Hands on experience with T-SQL programming
• Customer facing skills, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Ability to understand user requirements and a problem solving attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £41,342 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
