Job Title:  Income Manager & Money Advice Manager

Salary Banding:  £42,420 - £53,280

Location:  Preston

Duration:  Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 months

Hours (weekly):  35 (Monday to Friday)

Do you have extensive knowledge and experience of managing an Income Collection and specialist Money Advice Support Services within the Housing Sector?   Are you looking for an opportunity where you can inspire a key service within that organisation?  

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for an Income Manager & Money Advice Manager to ensure the provision of excellent customer service and maximise income for our 28,000 properties.  

You will have a demonstrable track record of achievement and through your team delivering a Rental Income Service in a Social Housing environment.  You will have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of housing legislation and other relevant legislation eg court pre-action protocols and the regulatory framework which governs housing and associated case law.

As Income Manager & Money Advice Manager, you will utilise your strong management skills to inspire, coach and develop a high performing team to deliver positive outcomes for our customers to maximise income.   The team aims to continuously improve both service to customers, as well as efficiency and effectiveness.

Your excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills will enable you to maintain and build effective and productive working relationships with your team, external agencies and customers. 

If you have experience …..

• managing, monitoring, evaluating and assessing rental and associated Income Collection, in line with sector-wide best practice
• providing strategic lead to Income Collection and Money Advice Support Services, ensuring continuous improvement in response to external factors (eg Welfare Reforms).
• supporting Team Leaders to deliver a commercially aware, modern and customer focused income team.
• of change management, ideally delivering service improvement through digital solutions. 
• maximising income collection and mitigating risk from Universal Credit.
