HOUSING SERVICES AND STRATEGY MANAGER
£36,290 - £38,158 per annum – Grade 12
If you are passionate about providing tenants with a great housing service and enjoy managing a team who cover all aspects of housing strategy and engagement, you could be our next Housing Services and Strategy Manager.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to lead the Housing Services and Strategy section to ensure positive outcomes for tenants and leaseholders.
You will be someone who enjoys the variety of leading a team which encompasses resident engagement, performance management, right to buy, leaseholder services, research, strategy and policy development.
It is essential that you have significant experience of working within a housing environment, ideally within a local authority. A detailed understanding of the issues affecting housing is required, as well as an understanding of housing legislation and the regulatory framework. In addition to managing those within the Housing Services and Strategy section the post holder will also work closely with other managers and teams to review policies and improve performance.
The role provides an essential link between the housing service and other authorities and agencies. You will need to be comfortable liaising with officers, managers, councillors and other stakeholders at all levels.

- Performance Management
- Improving housing services
- Writing and implementing new policies and procedures
The ideal candidate would:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Be impartial and diplomatic
- Have good IT skills
- Be someone who represents our GREAT values and behaviours
