The Help to Buy (H2B) Equity Loan seeks to stimulate demand for new homes by improving affordability. This contributes toward Homes England's delivery of 300,000 new homes pa and towards the objective of delivering home ownership products to customers. The H2B team operates a highly efficient and responsive service through deep understanding of operational policies, procedures, delivery, risks and controls. This ensures that Government’s high priority objectives are met for both new loan sales and the longer term performance of the equity loans.
The HtB Analyst will take responsibility for managing effective corporate and operational governance, with particular reference to the major recruitment campaigns. Working collaboratively with stakeholders both internal and external, to provide a proactive service; one that is well planned and minimises the need for reactive activity. This is a fastmoving and high profile
environment at the heart of the group and the successful candidate will have a key role to play supporting the Director HtB and the leadership team to deliver their priorities.
This is a high profile role dealing with very senior colleagues, so it requires strong judgement and the ability to manage upwards. The post holder needs to have the ability to understand and translate complex, and sometimes technical, information adapting them to suit different audiences. You will also be expected to challenge existing processes, support the provision of an effective governance framework across the H2B business, and work with colleagues within the Business Management team to implement other improvement projects.

 

We are looking for:
Previous experience of working in government/public sector environment.
Previous experience of working in large/complex organisations spread across multiple sites.
Analysis and summarising complex information into managers’ briefing packs.
Understanding of governance, assurance and risk frameworks.
Experience in implementing change management, corporate programmes and transformation.
Knowledge of the Help to Buy Equity Loan Programme and an understanding of how it works.  

 

Our successful candidate will:
Deliver excellent recruitment and administrative services in support of the implementation of the TOM and delivery of transformation programme.
Establish, maintain and communicate a common a set of processes and procedures for the recruitment activities, ensuring that the processes and procedures meet the commercial, operational and regulatory governance required within the HE.
Provide support to recruiting managers, specifically organising the logistic for interviews booking meeting rooms, diary coordination, draining and sending letters to candidates – and supporting the onboarding of new staff including IT provision and guidance on key policies such as H&S procedures etc.
Make effective use of the information gathered through the staff survey, skills, self-assessment and annual appraisal activity and ensure that they are clearly reflected in the Annual Training Plan.  

 

The skills we would like are:
Prior experience of providing excellent recruitment and administrative support to a busy team.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications – Excel (advance level), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels in English.
Friendly self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work flexibly as part of a dynamic and fast paced team with an ability to work at pace and under pressure.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and communicate a range of projects and tasks.
Used to working at pace and demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines.
Team player and ability to adapt to a different environment and adjust outputs according to emerging asks.
