This is an exciting time to join Doncaster Council. With a plan of 920 homes per year and almost 15000 by 2035, a booming economy and record levels of inward investment, our ambition is to ensure Doncaster is a great place to learn, work, live and care. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, and part of the senior leadership group, you will lead and be accountable for the Council’s strategic housing function, designing and implementing modern and innovative delivery models to drive new homes across the borough.

We’re looking for a leader that can bring a successful record of delivering significant numbers of homes, is collaborative, passionate and thrives on the challenge of working at pace to deliver major change and improvements. You will need to possess a genuine energy and enthusiasm for promoting the region’s strengths and for attracting and directing investment towards the development of sustainable homes for Doncaster.
