Experienced Head of Delivery within Residential Housing 

Location : Camden

Salary : £70,000 - £75,000

We are looking for a Head of Delivery to drive the delivery of projects and report scheme progress and performance to the Commercial and property Director. You will manage a team of staff to ensure the successful delivery of One Housing’s Corporate Plan targets, focussing on cost, time and quality. Ensuring risk is properly identified, allocated and effectively managed. Delivering innovation efficiencies, design quality and exert strict financial control throughout the development period, to the agreed programme, for all projects.

Duties :

• Delivery of quality new homes, on time and to budget.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in the development process and create an effective team though leadership and mentoring. 
• Promote the expertise of the Delivery team within One Housing to key stakeholders to collaboratively deliver development projects.
• Assist with appraisals and design development throughout the delivery process and be a proactive part of the development senior leadership team.
• Manage internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects from start on site and controlling schemes through the build phase until PC is achieved and successful fully signed off handover is completed.
• Exert strict control of time, cost and quality to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the brief, specification and financial approvals. Monitor and drive the delivery of all schemes.
• Maintain all project information and produce regular reports updating the Commercial and Property Director on any key issues.
• Ensure properties are handed over correctly to our customers and asset management colleagues.

A dynamic and forward-thinking individual with great project management skills, to ensure that your projects are delivered within agreed parameters and in line with ambitious growth targets.

Flexible and adaptable in your approach with a strong customer focus and the passion to deliver great places to live. Quality is really important to us, and it is essential that you have a strong understanding of what makes a good quality home and the ability to deliver this through design and construction. You will be able to work closely with a range of stakeholders and excellent communication skills are essential.

You will need :

• Relevant Housing Sector, Project Management/Project delivery experience in a property setting.
• Ability to produce accurate written and financial reports and present these to Board
• Awareness of regulatory requirements affecting the sector.
• Substantial experience of development project management including a track record of delivering complex projects and managing staff teams at Senior Management level.
• Technical knowledge of the construction and development environment including: development appraisal, construction law, planning, and design and construction technology
